PUBLIC RELATIONS and MEDIA

Martin M. Cooper of Cooper Communications has extensive experience in marketing, crisis management, strategic planning, public relations, advertising and cause-related marketing. His firm was founded in 1982 and has represented a broad range of corporate, governmental and non-profit clients.

A frequent speaker before professional, management and civic groups, Cooper has supervised numerous programs that have been recognized his his professional peers, including the professions highest award, the Public Relations Society of America Silver Anvil Award. In 1996, the Los Angeles Chapter of Public Relations Society of America (PRSA-LA) honored Cooper with its Outstanding Professional Award, bestowed for lifetime achievement, and in 1997 he was awarded its Community Service Award. In December 2005, he was appointed by Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa to the City's Quality and Productivity Commission, and is currently Vice President of the Commission. He is also a member of the Executive Committee and Board of Directors of the Economic Alliance of the San Fernando Valley, a member of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences and a member of the Director's Council of UCLA's William Andrews Clark Library.

LEGISLATIVE REPRESENTATION

Scott Sadler has a rich background in California politics and public policy. Before becoming a partner in Lehman-Kelly-Sadler & O’Keefe, Mr. Sadler was Manager of State Government Affairs for Reliant Energy, where he was responsible for state legislative and regulatory policies in California, Arizona and Nevada. Prior to taking that position, Mr. Sadler served as California State Director for the 2000 Bush for President Campaign.
After serving as Chief of Staff for Senator Bruce McPherson for several years in the mid-1990’s, Mr. Sadler was appointed Director of the California State Senate Republican Caucus where he augmented the legislative, political and communication operations for 15 Republican State Senators.

Earlier, Mr. Sadler was a Senior Account Executive for the Sacramento political consulting firm of McNally Temple Associates, serving as campaign consultant for many successful California political campaigns. He started his political career working at the National Republican Senatorial Committee in Washington, D.C.
Mr. Sadler attended the University of Oklahoma, where he majored in American Studies, and completed studies at the Institute on Comparative Political and Economic Systems, Georgetown University.
