LOCAL ISSUES

Local issues need to be addressed for the local people. CDOC has a stake in local issues because we represent dog owners from all over the county. We see our role as one of communication, strategy where requested, providing data and information.

We look to our members and other dog people to work with their local officials to educate them about appropriate legislation. Through the legislative grid CDOC is prepared to provide the physical package that will help our members keep their elected officials current on animal affairs.

We will try to keep our members and interested parties apprised of the status of local issues, both through this website and through the attached blog. We recognize that all of us have other lives to lead so CDOC needs to keep you aware, keep you up to date of best practices at the local level while not bombarding you with information that you cannot use. And we know we can count on you to keep us on our toes.
